Tooth extractions

When a tooth can’t be restored safely, removal is sometimes the most predictable way to protect your long-term oral health. It’s completely normal to feel uncertain about the process. That’s why we take things slowly, explain each step, and make sure you feel comfortable before, during, and after the appointment.

Most patients find the experience quicker and gentler than they expected — and leave feeling relieved and informed.

What an extraction supports

• Relief from pain or infection
• Protection of surrounding teeth and tissues
• A clear path toward future restoration
• A healthier, more comfortable bite

Why extractions matter

Sometimes a tooth is too damaged, infected, or unstable to be repaired predictably. Removing it can prevent more complicated issues, such as deeper infections or changes to your bite. An extraction also allows us to discuss next steps, including replacement options when appropriate.

What happens during an extraction

We numb the area, gently remove the tooth, and review after-care instructions so your healing feels smooth and manageable. Throughout the appointment, we check your comfort, explain what’s happening, and take time to answer any questions.
